12/03 I had a premonition. I was looking at a t.v. screen with snow on it. My mother's face flashed, then heard the word "CANCER". This happened three times. I was so troubled by this. A week went by and I didn't know how to tell my mom. Then she told me that she quit smoking a week ago, doctor gave her a clear bill of health and told her that her lungs were clear. How could I tell her then? 2004 would have been 20 year anniversary of my dad's death (to cancer). I then convinced myself that it had something to do with dad's anniversary & my worry of mom getting lung cancer (due to being a heavy smoker for years). In August, my mother told me that she her bones felt like someone was sticking her with hot pokers. I knew that it was cancer. When she was diagnosed with cancer, I told her of my premonition. That haunts me. My my had visions, so it is my belief that she knew.

This wasn't the first time that I had a vision of someone's death or illness. None as vivid and real as my mother's.

I asked a Christian counselor about this once and she told me to ask God why I have this gift; if I don't want it, ask God to take it away.

I'm sorry, I got a little confused when you said it happened minutes ago 12/03. Are you saying you had that premonition 13-14 hours ago now or was the screen flashing the real premonition?
